Diane Webster Memorial Award

WEBSTER, Diane Gaye - (1966-1999) was a certified athletic therapist of the Canadian Athletic Therapists Association (CATA). She was a devoted colleague to each of us and a strong supporter of both the Atlantic Provinces Athletic Therapists Association (APATA) and the CATA. The APATA has established the following award in Diane's memory:

The award will be payment of the early registration fee of a student whose permanent residence is in the Atlantic Provinces and who is a CATA certification candidate. The award is to assist the candidate in attending the next annual CATA conference

The Award began with the 2001 annual conference. It is granted annually (provided that there is a suitable candidate) and selected by a committee chosen by and made up of certified members of the APATA. If the certification candidate will not be attending the next conference then a $100.00 award will be given to that person with the intent that it be used for her/his educational development.
